Phlock of South Jersey Meeting Minutes 11/12/2009
Meeting opened at 7:15pm
Board Members: Dave & Terri Hood, John Repash, Carolyn Conley, WN Bunch, Norm Gaskill, Kevin & Carole Moore, Tracy McEneaney, Sandy Voightsberger, Cindy Cowling
General Members: Joe Purcell, Jeannie Niznik
Motion made by Norm Gaskill to approve minutes of last meeting, 2nd by WN.
VP – John mentioned that although we try to keep the meetings fun, the sidebar talking during the meeting needs to be kept to a minimum and that discussions can be brought up by members during old or new business; however, motions can only be made by board members.
Treasurer – Carolyn spoke with Philly Phins and they will pick up the full cost of the entertainment at this happy hour since the Phlock paid all of the last shared happy hour.

- We have received a thank you for our donation to the Hospice for Sandy’s dad.
Secretary – Cindy read brief thank you from the Camden County Parks for our environmental clean up of Newton Lake Park in Haddon Twp.
Membership – via John – we have 2 new memberships. Renewals will be sent for December.
Events – WN
- Nov. 22 from 2-6pm at Café Madison in Riverside with entertainment by Matt Avery
- Dec. 12 is the Phlock Christmas Party at Grog N Grill in Oaklyn from 1-6pm. Lots of drink specials and food specials. Santa to arrive around 3pm. Entertainment will be Matt Quinton. Bring a wrapped toy for your child to open and an unwrapped toy for our charities.

- Feb. – TBD possibly Shady Katie’s for Dooley House. More to come soon.
Webmaster – Norm has already posted MOTM pictures on the website.
Charity – Sandy has a list for Toys for Tots and Weisman Pediatrics. They are looking for Onesies, baby clothes, mobiles, light up toys, toys with music, scrapbook supplies.
Newsletter – Tracy is hopeful to have a new newsletter out by January. She is working on articles from August through December. Contact Tracy if you’d like to contribute.
Parrotphernalia – Kevin and Carole report that 5 shirts were sold at the last Happy Hour.
New Sweatshirts are in with embroidered emblems and will be sold for $28 each. Dave loved it so much he bought one on the spot! They are trying to shop around for better pricing from other vendors.
Club Liaison – Terri talked about the Parrotheads in Parrotdise Barefoot Windjammer Cruise January 15-18 aboard the Liberty Clipper. Go to www.Libertyfleet.com
