Meeting called to order at 7:18pm

Motion made, 2nd and approved to accept minutes from last meeting.

VP - All is good! John will inquire with Brian & the Coconuts for birthday bash

Treasurer - Fine and Dandy! Both the Phlock and Philly Phins contributed $250 each towards the payment for the Calypso Nuts at the November Happy Hour. Monies from the raffle of the basket also helped to go towards band payment. Final balance $5068.89

Secretary - nothing

Inter-Club Liaison - Terri spoke about the Jimmy & the Parrots cruise coming up in May and that Philly Phins is having their holiday party on 12/14 at Cheeseburger in Paradise from 12-4pm. There will be a Benefit in memory of Dave’s brother on Feb. 21, 2009 1-5pm at the Grog & Grill in Oaklyn. There was a motion and 2nd to help advertise this event on our website.

Events - Rob spoke about our Christmas Party to be held on 12/14 from 3-7pm at the Second Story Grille, Santa to arrive at 3pm. It was decided to not have any planned event in January due to past history with low turnout and possible bad weather. All agreed. Feb. 8 will be an event at Shady Katie’s to benefit Dooley House from 2-6pm No DJ planned Mar. 15 may be Bowling - TBD Apr. 18 back at Shady Katie’s for our Birthday Bash from 5-9pm (tentatively) Possibly having Jimmy & Jimmy if we can get a deal or Brian & the Coconuts. Dave mentioned that the Idol Woodsmen are interested in playing ($400)

Charities - Sandy took all the donations from the last happy hour over to Dooley House. They were very appreciative. Don’t forget to bring an unwrapped toy to the Christmas party as we are donating to Toys for Tots and Weisman Pediatrics.

Membership - Nancy reported 4 renewals and 1 new couple membership who are snowbirds with a home in Cudjoe Key! (Can we have a happy hour there?!) We have a total of 122 memberships with 259 active members, including families and keets

Publicity - Lelania will send out more info for Dooley house and the Feb. 8 event after the first of the year.

Website - Party on! Norm is working on getting all our recent pictures posted.

Parrothphenalia - All’s Fine! WN said we brought in about $35 worth of sales at our last happy hour

Old Business - WN mentioned that the Calypso Nuts loved playing at Shady Katie’s and our event.

New Business - WN brought up the possibility of dropping prices at the end of each happy hour on some old product to get it moving.
