General Membership: Roger Butler, Joe Pursel, Mike Bohacyzk, Jeanne Niznik
Meeting called to order at 7:10pm
Motion made, 2nd, and approved to accept minutes from last meeting
VP-John confirmed Jimmy and Jimmy to perform at our Birthday Bash. Gave contract to Carolyn to complete.
Treasurer-Carolyn received an email regarding the recent fires in Australia. The Aussie PH Club is asking for our help as many people have lost everything-Carolyn recommended sending any old T-shirts to help. WN will inventory, package and send out.
Secretary-Cindy spoke about a great turn out at the Midwinter Meltdown held in Manassas, VA. We had 12 members representing the Phlock and a great time was had by all!
Membership-Nancy- 158 members reported to PHIP with 3 renewals and 2 new members

Website-Norm says “Party on!”
Charity-Sandy reported that our Happy Hour for Dooley house donated $115 in checks, $194 in cash, and approximately $606 in baby items were donated. Great job for the Phlock and Phriends during these tough times.
Club Liaison-Terri had so much to report that I had to take her paperwork! Here is a briefing:
Feb. 21-Cancer Society benefit in memory of Bob Hood at Grog N Grill in Oaklyn 1-6pm
Feb. 21-DE Seashore PH Club Tropical Icebreaker 4-9pm at Mango’s on the beach with Jimmy & the Parrots
Feb. 22-Tri-State/Philly Phins happy hour at Cheeseburger in Paradise 1-5pm
Mar.4-Coastal PH Club hosting Peter Mayer & Scott Kirby at Katmandu in Trenton 7pm-?
Aug. 21-23-PH Club of Richmond-Stars on the Water-Registration opens in March
Nov.5-8-MOTM in Key West-Phip is looking for anyone interested in designing entries for the T-shirt/booklet/badge design.
Apr.25-Heart of VA PH Club-Phins on the James ’09 at Big Lick Tropical Grill, Lynchburg, VA 5:30pm-midnight with Calypso Nuts and B2B
Meet the Phlockers East Coast Spring Fling-sometime in May. More details to follow.
Events-Nancy brought us up to date:
March 15 we’ll be bowling with Philly Phins 1-4pm at Brewers on Rt. 73
April 18 is our Birthday Bash at Shady Katie’s from 5-9pm with Jimmy & Jimmy entertaining and food and drink specials
Publicity-unfortunately, Lelania was injured and couldn’t be with us. L But we got word that she will be sending out the information to the media about our Birthday Bash!
President-Dave thanked the Philly Phins for having our notice about our Birthday Bash on their website
- Dave will be purchasing the Margaritaville jean jacket to auction off at the Birthday Bash but noticed that sizes are limited and pricing is different on 3 sites. By unanimous vote, he will purchase 2 jackets of different sizes. One to be raffled at the Bash and possibly the second at the Alzheimer’s Event in August.
- Dave received a resignation letter from Robbie that he will need to resign his position as Chairman of the Events committee. This will leave just Nancy to handle all of the planning. He left the floor open for discussion as Joe Pursel and WN have both mentioned interest in this position
Parrotphernalia-WN stated that the new spaghetti strap tanks will be available for the Birthday Bash and turned in $80 from merchandise sold at the Christmas Party. (He’s from the south and yes, they are a little slower down there!)
New Business
- Dave will again set up at “Game On!” in Atlantic City for the day of the concert Aug. 23 pre-concert party
