Secretary-Thank you note from Dooley House
Club Liaison – A big thank you to all who attended the Cancer Benefit at Grog and Grill for Dave’s brother. Over $6,000 was raised.
-Stars on the Water Aug. 21-23 in Richmond, VA Register for this event online
-“Phins on the James” hosted by HOVPHC event in Lynchburg, VA
-“Captain Morgan” Cruise slated for March 3-13, 2010
-Philly Phins hosting bowling March 15 with the Phlock at Laurel Lanes/Brewster’s
1-4pm, $60 per lane, 6 people per lane. See Joe Pursel for additional info.
-Philly Phins happy hour March 17 at Cheeseburger in Paradise
-Philly Phins at Shady Katie’s with the Phlock June 28
Membership-9 renewals, 1 new, total 182 members and 90 memberships

Events-3/15 Bowling with Philly Phins at Laurel Lanes/Brewster’s 1-4pm. **Requesting donations of tropical shirts, T-shirts, etc. to send to our PH Phriends in Australia who have endured wildfires. There will be a jar set up for donations to help defray the mailing fees. 50/50 to benefit Camp No Worries
-4/18 Phlock Birthday Bash at Shady Katie’s with Jimmy & Jimmy playing and food and drink specials. See any Board member for tickets. $25 advance or $30 at the door
-5/17 Happy Hour possibly at Grog & Grill – Dave Hood to talk to bar owner
-6/28 – Motion made by Lelania to have the HH at Shady Katie’s co-hosted with Philly Phins-Jim Morris to play, $10 cover at the door 1-5pm 2nd by Roger Passed Unanimously
-7/12 at the Jughandle. Looking into music.

Charity-nothing
Parrothphernalia-New spaghetti strap tees will be on order as of Wed. and should be in by the birthday bash.
Newsletter-the post office finally found our Newsletters and they’re out!
President-Dave is working on Game On! For the AC concert pre-party
-Dave showed off one of the Margaritaville jean jackets to be raffled off at the birthday bash.
-We are looking for someone (or two) to take over the Parrotphernalia and one additional events position. See Dave for details.

New Business-Nancy showed off the new Parrot Money that each renewal and new member will receive in their packet to be used for Parrotphernalia purchases.
