Meeting opened at 7:20pm
Board Members present: Lelania Wells, Dave & Teri Hood, Norm Gaskill, Sandy Voigtsberger, Nancy Repash, Cindy Cowling
General Membership: Kevin Moore & Carole Grob, Susan McCreery, Joe Pursel, Mike Bohaczyk, Roger Butler, Pat Iacovelli, Mary Genovese, Jeanie Niznik, Helene Genovese
Motion made, 2nd and approved to accept minutes from last meeting
VP-John not here, but Nancy relayed: “All is Good!”
Treasurer – absent
Secretary – Cindy reported that the Parrothead Cruise was Awesome! Anyone even thinking about going next year should start saving now. What a Party with a Purpose (all funds go to Breast cancer research and awareness.
Membership – Nancy reported that we had 2 renewals bringing us to 184 members and 91 memberships. Reminder that April renewals will be going out soon and there are A LOT!!!
Liaison – Terri – Delaware Seashore PH’s are hosting “Boat Drinks Bacchanal” on May 16.
-MOTM is having a sunset cruise. If interested in any MOTM info contact Terri or Dave Hood.
Website – Norm: “Team Drink!”
Publicity – Lelania – sent out last of info for the Phlock Birthday Bash.
Charity – Sandy – will be buying 2 more rolls of 50/50 type tickets for the birthday bash and Alzheimers events.
Newsletter – absent
Events – Nancy & Lelania – The last happy hour, bowling with Philly Phins, we collected shirts to send to Australia fire victims. We have received word that they are overwhelmed with help so we will keep the club T-shirts and donate the donated shirts to Goodwill. Motion by Nancy to donate the $34 collected initially for postage to be donating to our Camp No Worries fund. 2nd by Lelania Unanimously approved
-May 17 HH at the Grog & Grill 2-6pm. Dave will confirm drink specials and food specials
-June 28 HH at Shady Katie’s with Philly Phins 1-5pm with Jim Morris playing. Corona and Margarita Specials. $10 cover charge. Both clubs will split the cost of the entertainment.
-July 12 HH at the Jughandle Inn – 2-6pm. New owners. Lelania to contact.
-August – Alzheimer’s Event
-So far just 88 tickets sold for birthday bash.
-Pat & Mary have donated a basket to raffle at the birthday bash. Motion by Nancy, 2nd by Mike to be a bonus prize or second prize with the 50/50. Unanimously approved.
-Motion by Terri to have Nancy purchase leis for the birthday bash. 2nd by Norm. Unanimously approved.
